Established in 2008, Tacit Group is a Seoul-based audiovisual collective specializing in algorithmic art, multimedia performance, and interactive installations. Led by electronic musician Gazaebal, Tacit is considered to be the pioneer of the genre in South Korea.

Tacit Group tapped 13th Eye to conceived of and develop a new cycle of Tacit artworks exploring artificial intelligence.  This collaboration, with Gazaebal as performer and sound designer, and 13th Eye handling visuals and technology, has borne several live audiovisual performance pieces and one museum exhibition. These works have been shown in North America, Asia, and Europe.

13th Eye created the core concept and performance framework, wherein a human and LLM-derived AI personas perform simultaneously in real-time. 

We wrote the software powering all aspects of performance: graphics engines, AI integration, machine learning, real-time multilingual translation, performance interfaces, musical synthesis and lighting integration.

Reusable components are currently being prepared for open-source release.
