Established in 2008, Tacit Group is a Seoul-based audiovisual collective specializing in algorithmic art, multimedia performance, and interactive installations. Led by electronic musician Gazaebal, Tacit is considered to be the pioneer of the genre in South Korea.

Tacit Group tapped 13th Eye to conceive of and develop a new cycle of Tacit artworks exploring artificial intelligence. This collaboration has borne three audiovisual performance pieces and one museum exhibition. These works have been shown in North America, Asia, and Europe.

13th Eye designed the interactions and the novel platform upon which real and simulated beings perform together. We developed the software stack, powering AI performers, dynamic computer graphics, synthesizer and lighting integration, and performance interfaces.
